Oktoberfest at the Music Hall inVandalia
MTO News Are you looking to celebrate Oktoberfest in Vandalia? The Music Hall hosts a fun-filled event from September 25th through October 2nd. This five-day celebration features German food, beer, and music. Admission is free for all guests!
On the first day of the celebration, guests can enjoy a traditional Bavarian meal, including soup and salad, pork roast, potatoes with onions and gravy, and apple strudel. There will also be plenty of beer on tap for purchase.
On the second day of Oktoberfest, there will be live music in the concert hall from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The evening’s entertainment will include jugglers, dancers, and comedic acts. A variety of German beers will also be available for purchase during this performance.
The third day of Oktoberfest features a children’s activity area where youngsters can learn about German history while playing games like hopscotch and tag. There will also be a petting zoo open from noon to 5 pm. In addition to all the fun activities available on this day, craft vendors will set up shop throughout the venue selling everything from pretzels to pottery.

A Dog Show at the Fox Theatre in Springfield
If you’re in the mood for fun, there’s always a good dog show in Springfield. The Fox Theatre is hosting its annual dog show this Saturday, and it’s sure to be a lot of fun for all. The Independence Day Celebration at the Springfield Armory
The Springfield Armory Museum of American History is hosting an Independence Day celebration this weekend that you want to attend. Festivities include live music, a parade, and a fireworks show. The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and admission is free.
